Redlands is a leisure and community park in Weymouth, offering a community cafe and a range of facilities to help the people of Weymouth become more active. We work with local clubs, communities, Colleges and Dorset Council as we look to adopt the same operating model that has proved so successful with Slades Park.

Redlands is now operated by Active Dorset CIO, a Charity that has been established to support local people to become more active. We work with local communities and partners in identifying underused spaces which provide opportunities for promoting active lifestyles.

All revenue and surpluses raised at Redlands will be re-invested to support the delivery of activity or to enhance facilities at the site and encourage a more active and healthy community.

Our Community café and soft play area is open 9.30am-4pm Monday to Friday and 9.30am-4pm on Sundays. Please note: our soft play area and soft play parties are for children aged 5 and under. Although the soft play is free, we do ask that food and/or drink is purchased from our café to help cover the running costs.

Our community café is run mainly by our fantastic volunteers from the local community, many of which are regular users of Redlands. If you would like to help give back to the community, please contact us by filling out the form below.

Children's soft play parties - Our 90 minute soft play parties are now available to book online through our SportsKey booking system. Please use the booking link below to choose your preferred date, time and food package.
