Facilities

Redlands is a large site offering a large amount of sporting facilities. They include grass football pitches of varying sizes, from 11-a-side to 5-a-side and also a 3G artificial football pitch. These are highly popular amongst both sports clubs and private bookings.

There is a full size cricket pitch, home to Weymouth Cricket Club and also a sand-based hockey astro pitch which is run independently by Weymouth Hockey Club.

Redlands has two sports halls, a six badminton court vinyl floor hall, and a wooden floored hall housing 4 additional courts. These are perfect for badminton, indoor football, volleyball, roller dance, netball, and a range of other activities.

There is an exercise studio and function room for aerobics, Pilates and associated exercise classes, with the opportunity to use the function room for children's parties and gatherings.

Immediately adjacent to the Redlands site is the Wey Valley Tennis Centre, which is also operated by Active Dorset. This facility has four full sized indoor tennis courts and provides a unique opportunity for year round tennis activity.

Our volunteer led community cafe and children's soft play area is now open!

Come along and treat yourself to our selection of hot and cold snacks, and barista hot drinks. The cafe and soft play are open daily, however may change depending on volunteer availability.

🐾 Why not bring your four legged friend along too? Yes that right, we are dog friendly!

Soft play is FREE, however we do ask that you purchase items from our cafe in return.
