This qualification will provide learners with the knowledge, confidence and skills to support individuals who are thinking of making a health behaviour change.
The course covers:
- How to communicate effectively and build, rapport with an individual and what can impact on behaviour change and how to explore these factors.
- Understand how an individual can be supported in thinking and planning for a health behaviour change.
Upon completion, you will gain an RSPH Level 2 Accredited Award in Supporting Behaviour Change.
The course is free for staff working in the Dorset Integrated Care Partnership. The course fees are covered by Active Dorset funding. If you are not eligible to access the course free of charge then please contact kwalder@activedorset.org for details on how to pay the £80 course fee.
